Zero Spam Tolerance Policy

Due to a recent surge in spam content and the limited availability of moderators to manage the community, TUX Forums has been significantly impacted by spam. To combat this, we have implemented a Zero Spam Tolerance Policy.

Under this policy, any posts or accounts identified as spam or promoting spam will be removed immediately, and the associated user accounts may be suspended or permanently banned without warning. This action is at the sole discretion of the moderators and administrators. Users whose content has been mistakenly removed or flagged may appeal through the forum’s contact option for further review.

Guidelines for Forum Participation

To ensure a positive experience for all members, the following guidelines should be observed:

• Respectful Communication: Interactions within the forum should remain courteous and respectful at all times. Personal attacks or offensive behavior are not tolerated.
• Relevant Contributions: Ensure that posts are related to the topic at hand and contribute meaningfully to the discussion. Off-topic posts or comments that derail conversations may be removed.
• No Unauthorized Promotions: Self-promotion, advertising, or promotion of services is prohibited unless explicitly allowed in designated sections.
• Report Violations: If you come across posts that appear to be spam or violate community rules, please use the report function to notify moderators, rather than engaging with the content directly.
