I'm worried about the bearings, I use 3D software most of the time so CPU/GPU will be anyway on the load, and if I render anything temps will go up and down. So thinking to keep it at full speed now.Why would you want to run it at full RPM all the time? The main point of getting good/better quality coolers is to reduce the noise
There's not risk at all to the CPU. The fan might wear down slightly more but better than constant ramping up and down.I'm worried about the bearings, I use 3D software most of the time so CPU/GPU will be anyway on the load, and if I render anything temps will go up and down. Ya, I have kept mine at 100% now. There's not risk at all to the CPU. The fan might wear down slightly more but better than constant ramping up and down.
I'm worried about bearings only mainly. Hope it will be ok if the fan is at full speed. It’s fine. The only thing that can be hard on fan bearings is constant ramping up/ramping down. Holding a constant speed is totally fine
I don't care about the noise well for now I have set it to 100%I have mine set to 100% because I didn't like the temps I was getting. And its running this way for more than a year now and haven't had any issues. Just a little loud but it doesn't bother me since I usually wear a headset
