I'm working on an online store and I wanted to move my InfluxDB database, which runs in the background, to a cloud. After a long period of research, I decided to use the DBaaS provider Aiven.
Aiven not only monitors the data, but also takes care of backing it up (backups). As far as I was informed correctly, InfluxDB has retention policies that define how long the data points of measurements should be stored. That means that after a certain time the data points are automatically deleted. Does anyone know how long this is the case with Aiven? I think I heard between 2-4 weeks, but I am not sure.
