is digital signature different from electronic signature?

The primary purpose of the digital signature is to secure a document so that it is not meddled with by people without the authority to sign. An electronic signature is mainly used to confirm a document. The source of the document and its authors are identified. A digital signature is used to secure a document, and a digital signature is approved and regulated by certification authorities. An electronic signature is not usually authorized.

Digital signatures are comprised of more security features. Types of digital signatures are based on Adobe or Microsoft. Primary examples of electronic signatures include verbal, electric ticks or scanned signatures. Digital signatures are usually preferred due to high levels of authenticity. Electronic trademarks are more comfortable to use, but they are also less authentic.

A digital signature is a type of electronic signature that offers more security than a traditional electronic signature. When you sign a document with a digital signature, the signature links a “fingerprint” of the document to your identity.

A digital signature comprises more security features which makes it more secure than an electronic signature.
