What's new in iOS 16.1 in terms of features?

With this update, Apple is adding some features that weren't available in iOS 16‌, such as the 'iCloud Shared Photo Library' feature for managing photo libraries with friends and family. In addition, iOS 16.1 adds Live Activities directly to the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. Let's point out some other notable features available on the official iOS 16.1!

Battery percentage: iOS 16.1 now supports displaying battery percentage in the status bar on iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini models. The battery icon is also now more intuitive with a battery indicator that can change depending on the remaining battery level on the device.

Environmental Charging Mode: When this mode is activated, iPhone will automatically optimize its charging ability while using an environmentally friendly power source, helping to reduce unnecessary carbon emissions. However, it seems that this feature only works depending on the region the user is living in (currently Vietnam does not).
