GameBench Community Edition (FPS without root) - Apps on Google Play is a good one I guess there are many positive reviews and it doesn’t need root access. Give it a try.

Other apps will need root permission but will be much more accurate.
Why not xiaomi’s game booster? Will that only work for xiaomi?
