Help! I’ve got this super annoying problem with an app window that’s stuck halfway off my screen. I can only see about half of it, and I can’t figure out how to drag it back down. I’ve tried clicking and dragging the visible part but no luck.
Does anyone know some keyboard tricks to bring a window back into view? Or maybe a way to reset its position or force it into fullscreen mode? This is driving me crazy!
I’m using Mac OS Sequoia if that helps. Thanks in advance to anyone who can save me from this frustration!

Try these solutions in order:
The Option-Click Method: Hold down the Option key while clicking on the app icon in your Dock, then select “Move” from the context menu. Now use your arrow keys to reposition the window back onto your screen.
Window Management Keyboard Shortcut: Press Command+Control+F to toggle the window to fullscreen mode, then press it again to exit fullscreen which often recenters the window.
Force Window Reset: Try clicking anywhere in the visible portion of the window, then press Command+M to minimize it. Now click the app icon in the Dock to restore it, which usually resets its position.
Mission Control: Press F3 or Control+Up Arrow to enter Mission Control, then drag the window preview to reposition it properly on your screen.
Terminal Command: If all else fails, open Terminal and paste this command (replacing “AppName” with your app’s name):
