Apple is using a 12MP sensor as it’s main camera on the 11 Pro and it has excellent image quality. So does anyone know which sensor it is using?
Apple never says the sensor used in it like it never says the ram used and also battery
They are probably using Sony sensors

The iPhone cameras, like most smartphones and digital cameras, have sensors that use CMOS, or complementary metal-oxide semiconductor, technology to convert light to electrons.
I believe Sony sensor are the best …

The iPhone 11’s cameras use a 12-megapixel sensor. Apple doesn’t like to disclose too much specific information about its components, so it’s not entirely clear how physically large each of the sensors is.
