Which hackrf bundle would be better?

There are 4 bundles here .
If I get bundle 1, with two extra antennas like
antenna1
antenna2

will it be same like bundle 4 without the cover and tcx0 ? I want to try out everything which bundle 4 can do. I’m finding a way to reduce the cost.

Just buy demo kit, it does have a “good enough” antinna which will perform good in mid spectrum aka VHF and UHF bands. Just remeber that for low signals u are going to need a parabolic antinna or even a dipole antinna

Happy Hacking

Demo kit means bundle 1?
and will these antennas of rtl-sdr work for hackrf https://www.rtl-sdr.com/using-our-new-dipole-antenna-kit, they say it covers all frequencies.

Yes and yes… an antinna has gain function which incrases and gets stable then decreases so if an antinna is rated for range of freq it performs best at the mid frequency.

Considering your goal of exploring various functionalities while keeping costs down, opting for bundle 1 with additional antennas seems practical. However, ensure to test and ground your CB antenna mount properly. Testing involves verifying continuity, impedance matching, and checking for any circuit issues. Grounding dissipates static charges and protects your equipment.
