I saw some wake on lan feature in bios of some motherboards. I was thinking if there is an alternate way for it?

Instead, you can double-click on a “power on” shortcut on your desktop and hear your remote PC instantly spring to action. Then, fire up your favorite file manager, visit your remote PC’s shared folders, and copy and move files to and from it. Finally, double-click on the “power off” shortcut and that’s it.
IPMI is a way to turn on and off machines, some PC and most of the Bare metal servers has IPMI built-in to it but it is very rare case in PC, I use this feature to manage servers even though the machine is turned off , we can even entirely control servers using IPMI even online or offline !
I had dreamed of remote work in the past, and then I found myself in a cool IT project through ibench.net!
