RBL NCMC metro card dead? Here’s how I got my money back

Hi everyone,

It’s widely known that Bangalore’s NCMC cards are currently non-functional. However, there’s a workaround!

A little history: Due to issues with AGS, RBL Bank discontinued the “One Nation One Card” service, which unfortunately led to the RBL NCMC Card app becoming obsolete.

Our recommendation:
If you have any balance remaining on your card or in the online wallet, please use the provided link (https://nammametro.paycraftsol.in/) to transfer it to your card. Once the funds are on your card, you can then:

  • Get a normal metro card.
  • Ask customer care to transfer the balance from your NCMC card to your new, normal metro card.

Thanks for sharing this, Abhiram. I wasn’t aware of the Paycraft link before, just tried logging in, and it seems to recognize my old NCMC card. For anyone else trying this, make sure your card is still active before attempting the transfer. Also, if the wallet shows any pending balance, it might take a bit of time to reflect after initiating the move to the card. Will update if I face any issues during the customer care transfer step.

I had no idea there was still a way to get the balance back. Thought the money was just gone.
