I wonder what it takes to manufacturer an IC or CPU or laptop chip? Like AMD Intel or Qualcomm Snapdragon? Only a few names I know, is it patented or what? Why no other manufacturers?
Cut throat competition and hard for any new startups to get a foothold plus the cost!
why would you try to make one when AMD and intel have such a big footprint in the market
